Derivative Work Guidelines

The Perfect World Games (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") has established the following guidelines (hereinafter referred to as the "Guidelines") in order to make it more enjoyable for players to play NTE.

Users are requested to follow these guidelines when participating in UGC activities and posting gameplay videos.

Derivative Work

1. Relevant Parties

▶ Individuals or unincorporated entities may create, exhibit, distribute and publish derivative works based on our content for non-commercial purposes only.

▶ Please contact us in advance if you are engaged in the creation of derivative works , or if you wish to engage in the creation of derivative works that exceed the standards set in this Guidelines.

2. Definition of "non-profit purpose"

Derivative works are recognized as non-commercial if they are created without the intention of making a profit. We also recognize that it is a non-commercial purpose if the work is used within the scope of hobby and the user is not compensated more than the costs incurred in the production process, such as the cost of raw materials.

3. The scope of our permitted Derivative Work

▶ Creation, online publication, display and distribution of doujinshi (including but not limited to doujin related merchandise).

▶ Creation, online distribution and display of illustrations, figures, dolls and other physical works.

▶ Creating, displaying and distributing cosplay costumes.

▶ Posting cosplay photos and videos online.

4. Prohibited items

▶ Content of the violation.

▶ Content that deviates from the image of the game's content and is detrimental to the company's image.

▶ Content that violates the rights of a third party or is considered to be offensive to the honor or dignity of a third party.

▶ Use of official materials (illustrations, videos, songs, logos, etc.) by direct copying, scanning, sampling, tracing, etc.

▶ Impersonation of the Company or impersonation of a relevant employee.

▶ The products and content that may be mistaken for an official release.

▶ The products and content that against the TERMS AND CONDITIONS and the Perfect World Games PRIVACY POLICY.

▶ Any other content that our company deems inappropriate.

Game Live Streaming and Video Production

You are free to use the game content for live streaming or video production as long as it does not violate the following Prohibited items.

The Company Declaration

▶ Depending on the actual output content based on the game content, we may request the suspension or removal of the content involved in the dispute. In addition, we may require the removal or suspension of the spread of any use of the content that we deem unsuitable.

▶ Our company reserves the right to pursue legal action in the event that a creator's creation or content adversely affects our company's works or infringes on our company or its works' reputation.

▶ Our company is not responsible for any damages or disputes with third parties that arise from a revision of this guideline or a derivative work event.

▶ When you use Company's content, we implicitly assume that you have agreed to this Guidelines and the TERMS AND CONDITIONS and the Perfect World Games PRIVACY POLICY.

▶ Where there is inconsistency between the Guideline and the TERMS AND CONDITIONS and the Perfect World Games PRIVACY POLICY , the Guideline shall prevail. For what is not included in this guideline, TERMS AND CONDITIONS and the Perfect World Games PRIVACY POLICY shall prevail.

The content of this guideline may be revised at any time without prior notice. If you continue to use the game content for live streaming, video production or Derivative Work, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to the modified content of this Guideline.

And the Company shall not be responsible for any loss resulting from the revision of this Guideline.
