DOWNLOAD TROUBLESHOOTING

1. Q: Download keeps failing due to connection drops?

A: Delete the partially downloaded files, wait for your connection to stabilize, then retry downloading the PC launcher from the official NTE website.

2. Q: Getting "not enough disk space" errors during launcher install?

A: Click "Custom Install" and pick a drive with enough room. (You'll need at least 50GB of space, preferably on an SSD)

3. Q: Download progress bar frozen?

A: If your internet's fine and the progress bar's just sitting there, the launcher is probably unpacking files. Don't cancel or close it—just give it a minute.

4. Q: Accidentally closed the launcher mid-download?

A: Just reopen it and click "Install Game" to pick up where you left off.

5. Q: Download speeds suddenly dropping?

A: First, make sure your connection's good. If it is, try going to Settings (gear icon) > "Download Server" and switch between Server 1 or 2. Peak times can also slow things down, so consider downloading during off-hours.

6. Q: Clicked "Start Game" after download finished, but nothing happens at login?

A: Totally normal. You might see a popup saying the test isn't live yet, or you might not—either way, it's fine. Pre-download starts February 4th, 2026 at 9:00 AM (UTC+8), but the actual test doesn't go live until February 6th, 2026 at 9:00 AM (UTC+8).

GPU ISSUES (NVIDIA 40-SERIES)

If you're running an NVIDIA 40-series card and getting frequent crashes, try this: In-game, hit ESC (or top right menu icon) > Settings > Graphics, then turn Frame Generation off.

NVIDIA DLSS FRAME GENERATION REQUIREMENTS

DLSS Frame Generation can significantly boost your FPS, but you'll need an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40-series GPU and "Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling" enabled in Windows.

Windows 11: Already on by default.

Windows 10: You'll need to enable it manually:

1. Type "Graphics Settings" in the Windows search bar and open it.

2. Toggle on "Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling."

3. Restart your PC.

Still not working? Update your GPU drivers and Windows to the latest versions.

MEMORY ISSUES

If your PC has 16GB of RAM or less and you're seeing stutters or crashes, your virtual memory might be set too low. Here's how to bump it up:

Windows 10: Right-click This PC > Properties > Advanced system settings

Windows 11: Right-click This PC > Properties > System info > Advanced system settings

Then:

System Properties > Advanced > Performance Options > Advanced > Virtual Memory > Change

1. Uncheck "Automatically manage paging file size for all drives."

2. Pick a drive to setup virtual memory (SSD recommended).

3. Set custom size: 1.5–2x your physical RAM is a good starting point, adjust as needed.

4. Save and restart your PC.

STORAGE REQUIREMENTS

Install the game on an SSD. Running it off a regular hard drive will cause map loading issues and performance problems.

GAMEPLAY TROUBLESHOOTING

1. Q: Game's stuttering, dropping frames, generally running poorly?

A: Hit ESC (top right menu icon) > Settings > Graphics, lower your quality settings, and set upscaling to Performance mode.

2. Q: Game crashed or disconnected unexpectedly?

3. Q: Game crashes on startup?

A: Check your OS. Windows 7 and 8 can cause issues—we recommend Windows 10 64-bit or newer.

4. Q: Character stuck, quest bugged, can't move?

A: Hit ESC (top right menu icon) > click the […] button > select "Unstuck." Or just exit and log back in—that usually fixes it.
